Burglaries Reported At 3 Bayport-Blue Point Restaurants

The three businesses were burglarized between Saturday night and Sunday morning.

BAYPORT-BLUE POINT, NY — Three restaurants in the Bayport-Blue Point area were burglarized between Saturday night and Sunday morning, according to Suffolk police.

First, JT's Cafe on Monutak Highway in Blue Point was burglarized sometime between midnight and 7 a.m. Sunday. Someone kicked in door and stole money and a hard drive, police said.

The second burglary was reported Le Soir on Montauk Highway in Bayport sometime between 11:30 p.m. on Saturday and 11:30 a.m. on Sunday. An espresso machine, liquor and cash were reported stolen from the business, police said.

Then on Sunday morning, police discovered a burglary at JT's Farmhouse at 8:30 a.m. The door to the eatery was pried open and money, camera and DVR stolen, police said.

It is still unknown if the three burglaries are connected. The incidents are still under investigation.
