It's going to be a downright crummy Sunday weather-wise on the island.

The good news: the high temperature will likely top 50 degrees on Long Island Sunday.
The bad: you are not going to want to be outside.
It's going to rain all day long and that's led the National Weather Service to issue a hazardous weather outlook for the region.

"Moderate to heavy rain may produce urban and poor drainage flooding through Sunday night," the outlook says.

Sunday- Periods of rain. The rain could be heavy at times. Areas of fog. High near 51. Light and variable wind becoming south 8 to 13 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.
Tonight- Showers, mainly before 10pm. Patchy fog before 1am. Low around 39. Southwest wind 9 to 13 mph becoming northwest after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
Monday- Partly sunny, with a high near 43. Northwest wind 7 to 9 mph.
Monday Night- Mostly clear, with a low around 25. Wind chill values between 20 and 25. North wind around 8 mph.
Tuesday- Sunny, with a high near 36. North wind 5 to 8 mph becoming light and variable.
Tuesday Night- A chance of snow after midnight, mixing with rain after 3am. Mostly cloudy, with a steady temperature around 34. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Wednesday- Mostly sunny, with a high near 48.
Wednesday Night- A 40 percent chance of rain after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 38.
Thursday- A 40 percent chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 52.
