OAKDALE, NY — A Long Island home that was damaged in a fire four years ago hit the market on Tuesday for $450,000.
That's $100,000 more than what the 4-bed, 2-bath Oakdale home was listed for last year.
It's also $1,000 more than the home was listed for a year before a 2017 Christmas Eve fire that seriously injured a resident.

The realtor.com listing reads: "House has fire damaged is being sold AS IS NO representation as to appliances, heating system etc. GREAT POTENTIAL for all cash buyer or investor."
Home prices have skyrocketed on Long Island thanks to a low inventory of homes for sale and huge demand. In March, the median home sale price in Nassau County was $600,000, and in Suffolk County it was $470,000. Those figures are up 13.2 percent and 17.5 percent, respectively, from March 2020.
