Long Island Woman Qualifies for CrossFit Games
Commack woman who trains at Bohemia gym will compete in the world championship games this summer after finishing 19th in the world.

Bohemia, NY — Kristine Best, of Commack, qualified this week for the 2020 Reebok CrossFit Games by finishing 19th in the world in the open competition. Best, who trains at the Bohemia CrossFit gym Undivided Athletics, finished in the top 20 out of over 90,000 women who competed globally. The open contest is open to anyone who signs up, and finishing in the top 20 is one route to the finals, along with winning other regional CrossFit sanctioned events.
Joey Catizone is the head coach at Undivided Athletics and he told Patch how prestigious this qualification is. "In the sport of CrossFit the CrossFit Games is the pinnacle of our sport and she is our first athlete to qualify." 35 women will eventually qualify to compete in the Games which will be held this summer in Madison, Wisconsin.
