Longtime Sayville Resident Kathleen Patin, 93, Dies

Sayville resident Kathleen M. Patin (née McGinley), 93, died December 27, 2013.  

A 66-year resident of Sayville, Mrs. Patin worked for many years for the IRS office in Holtsville.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed sewing and other handcrafts.  Mrs. Patin was an active member of St. Lawrence RC Church in Sayville.

Mrs. Patin is survived by her children, Paul and his wife Priscilla of Blue Point, Gene of Missouri, John of Sayville, and Tara Patin and her husband Fred Schreiber of Sayville; her grandchildren Paul-Jon, Lorelei, Erika, and Dylan; and great-grandchildren Nicholas and Andre. She was married in 1941, and predeceased by her husband Eugene in 1995.
