Louise Martone Peluso, Of Bayville, Dies At 98

Louise Martone Peluso, of Bayville, died on Jan. 20. She was 98.

Known to almost everyone as "Aunt Louise," she passed away on Jan. 20 after a long illness.

She loved her family and friends, her spectacular daylily garden, the opera, and her beloved NY Mets. She was the matriarch of the Martone family and a mainstay at L. Martone & Sons commercial roofing company. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Mario "Rudy" Peluso, her sister Catherine, and brothers Nicholas, Percy, Philip, Lorenzo, Andrew and John.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews, their families and her caregiver Lalita, who all loved her deeply and will miss her terribly.
