Man Fires Gun During Dunkin' Donuts Robbery

BOHEMIA, NY – Police are searching for a man who fired a gun during a robbery at a Long Island Dunkin' Donuts Friday evening.

According to Suffolk police, the man entered the Dunkin' at 4541 Sunrise Highway in Bohemia armed with a handgun and demanded cash from the two employees at about 5:25 p.m.

The man, who fled with cash, fired the gun once as he left the store, police said. The employees were not injured.

Police did not release any other information.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on the robbery to call the Fifth Squad at 631-854-8552 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
