Mini Spring Fest Coming To Sayville Next Week

SAYVILLE, NY — Easter will be coming to Sayville early this year!

The Greater Sayville Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a mini spring fest next Saturday, March 27 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The event will take place on Sayville's Main Street.

The festivities will include sidewalk shopping, music, giveaways, a raffle ticket, and a visit with the Easter bunny.

In addition, during the event, there will be a Spring Bonnet Contest. Contestants will have a chance to decorate a handmade bonnet and submit it for judging.

The bonnets will be judged by originality, creativity, and color. One winner from each age group will receive a $50 prize. The age groups are: 5-8 years old, 9-12 years old, 13-17 years old and 18+ years old.

Registration will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the white tent next to Koi on 136 Main Street. Judging will begin at 2 p.m.

Rain date for the event will take place on April 3.
