MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Saturday, December 6th, 10 a.m. at St. Lawrence RC Church, Sayville

INTERMENT: Will follow in the parish cemetery on Lakeland Avenue

OBITUARY:

Sean Paul Malloy, 65, of Bayport, LI, died on Tuesday, December 2, 2014. A resident of Bayport for more than forty years, Sean graduated from St. Francis College in Maine and went on to obtain his Master’s Degree at Stony Brook University. Sean was a Professor of Mathematics at Suffolk County Community College for many years. Sean is survived by his mother, Frances of Brooklyn, his siblings, J. Michael, III and his wife Mary of Michigan, Tracey Volet and her husband Thomas of Connecticut, Kerry Malloy and her husband Lawrence Kiefer of New Jersey and Roark and his wife Lori of Rhode Island, his cherished friend of more than thirty years, Debra Ann Cody, as well as many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. He was predeceased by his father J. Michael Malloy, Jr. Friends and relatives will gather on Friday, December 5th, 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 p.m. at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home in West Sayville. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 6th at 10 a.m. at St. Lawrence RC Church in Sayville and interment will follow in the parish cemetery on Lakeland Avenue.
