Police Investigating Multiple Sayville Burglaries

Four burglaries and two more attempted burglaries were reported in the area last Thanksgiving. The suspect or suspects are still at large.

SAYVILLE, NY - Suffolk Police announced on Monday they are investigating a string of burglaries that occurred in Sayville last Thanksgiving.

The homes, two on Lucille Drive and one each on Loop Drive and Potomac Lane, were burglarized on November 28 between 1 p.m. and 11 p.m. Money and jewelry were stolen from the homes.

In addition, two other attempted burglaries were reported at homes on Potomac Drive and Alba Court around the same time.

During those incidents the alarms were activated and the burglar or burglars fled without entering the homes.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
