Sayville 13 Year Old PAL Football Team Wins Division 2 Championship
Meaningful win for a group of boys who have played together under Coach Rich Pierce for 8 years

The stands were packed with excited family members and friends from both East Islip and Sayville as they cheered on their respective 13 year old PAL Football teams in the championship game on Saturday afternoon. This was to be a poignant game for both sides as 8th grade is the last year of eligibility in the PAL league. These boys, some of whom had played together for 8 years, would be playing their last game together.
It was a fantastic, hard fought game full of emotion and heart. In the end, Sayville came out on top with a 20 - 13 score.
