Sayville Board of Education citation recipients were allowed to attend the April 20 board meeting in person under the new COVID-19 limitations.

While the BOE members have always expressed their pride and joy at giving awards to students and staff, this meeting was an especially joyous one after a long absence.

Five students will be representing Sunrise Drive Elementary school with their science fair projects at Brookhaven National Laboratories Elementary Science Fair in May.
