SAYVILLE, NY — A Sayville boutique announced it will be closing down its storefront this month but will continue to sell items online.

Debra Canavan Classics, located on 53 Main Street, will be shuttering on January 31 after 30 years in business.

Owner Debra Canavan stated in a message to the community that while the store will close, the shoppable website that was created over the pandemic will re-launch on March 1.

That way, customers will still be able to shop and support the local business.

"It has been a wonderful journey and I can't express enough how heartwarming it is to have had your loyalty and support. I will forever miss the Sayville street events, wine and cheese nights, the fashion shows and all of those parades on Main Street," she wrote. "Unfortunately, we can’t pop the champagne and turn up the music to celebrate these last 30 years together, but I hope you will stop by to take advantage of the year end sale or to share a memory."
