Sayville Boys Volleyball Takes First County Championship

The Sayville Flashes boys volleyball team won its first ever county championship and ended a terrific season with a 12-7 overall record. The team was ranked number four on Long Island by Newsday.
Several players achieved firsts as well:

• Scott Litvin was named Division II Suffolk  County MVP
• Paul Close was named to the  2013 NYS Boys Volleyball All-Star team.

Also newsworthy:

• Richard Ward and Hunter Bauland were All-Division Honorable Mentions
• Joseph Fazio and Joseph Morici were All-Division
• Scot Litvin and Paul Close were All-County
• Richard Ward, Hunter Bauland, Joseph Morici, Joseph Fazio, and Paul Close were All-Tournament.
