Sayville Eatery Named Best Romantic Restaurant On LI

SAYVILLE, NY — Long Island residents cast their votes and chose a Sayville eatery as the best romantic dinner restaurant on Long Island for 2021, according to the Bethpage's Best of Long Island awards.

Cafe Joelle, located on 25 Main Street, received the honor this year. Last year, RHUM in Patchogue received the honor. Before that in both 2019 and 2018, Sufiya’s Grill in East Meadow was named the best romantic dinner restaurant.

Since it kicked off 15 years ago, the awards, sponsored by the Bethpage Federal Credit Union allow residents to choose the best countless restaurants, shops, and family-run businesses across Long Island.

"The Bethpage Best of LI contest is a roadmap to the best, top-notch businesses and services throughout both Nassau and Suffolk counties, as chosen by you, the residents and patrons who rely on them, every single day," the website reads.

Café Joelle has been a mainstay in Sayville for over 30 years. They recently switched hands but the menu remains the same. If you are looking to have a romantic lunch, brunch or dinner with your significant other then this is the place to be. The menu offers a nice selection of pasta, burgers and sandwiches. Café Joelle has also started offering a “Quarantine Drinks to Go” menu so that you don’t have to miss out on any more date nights. The quaint dining room and intimate setting is the perfect way to celebrate a night out with your significant other while also chowing down on a five-star meal. It can’t get any more romantic than that!
