At the end of the season, all six Section XI league Girls Varsity Soccer coaches convened to discuss the season’s MVPs. All six had to verify the nominees.

Tuesday, May 11, during the end-of-season booster club dinner at Land’s End, it was announced that four of our Sayville Girls Varsity Soccer athletes received honors. Congratulations to: Junior Devin Lillis who was voted All-State and is committed to Duquesne University, Senior Lexi Hellman who was voted All-County and will be attending Adelphi, Junior Katie Schroeder who was voted All-Conference/All-League, and Junior Jordan Messina who was voted All-conference/All-League and is committed to Yale.
Coach Bob Holmes shared he was very “proud of these girls!” Coach Holmes added additional kudos to “our JV coach Kristen Breihof, who was nominated League Six, section XI JV coach of the year. We were proud of her as she led an undefeated season.”
