Chalk it up to a good day with great weather, but High School Math Teacher Dawn Thelian seized the opportunity and took her Honors Calculus class outside to practice calculating the area between curves by drawing the problems on the sidewalk using chalk! Not only was it a splendid way to use the beautiful day, it made for a memorable lesson that the students will not soon forget.
