Sayville Library Closed This Week Due To Coronavirus Exposure
The local library announced over the weekend that the building will be closed all week due to the exposure.

SAYVILLE, NY — The Sayville Library will be closed this week due to a COVID-19 exposure, according to a Facebook post.
The library, located on 88 Greene Avenue, announced Saturday afternoon that out of an abundance of caution the building will be closed through Monday, Nov. 30. The library will officially reopen on Tuesday, Dec. 1.
"Because of the library's strict safety protocols, risk of exposure to patrons is extremely minimal," the social media post read. "During the closure, the library will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized."

Residents who signed up for grab and go crafts will be contacted by a librarian. Guests can also visit sayvillelibrary.org to use online services, learn about our virtual programs or chat with a librarian.
"We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and ask that you please continue to follow all safety precautions against COVID-19 in your daily life," the post read.
