Sayville Middle School Students Recognized For Food Drive
The Board of Education acknowledged the students who organized the food drive to help stock the Sayville Panty and St. Lawrence Church.

It’s been more than a year since students attended board of education meetings in person. The BOE members have always expressed their pride and joy at giving awards to students and staff, this meeting was an especially joyous one after a long absence.

Eighth grade students who, earlier this year, took it upon themselves to organize a food drive to help stock the Sayville Panty and St. Lawrence Church were recognized. They are: Isabella Romanelli, Matthew Luffman, Adria Vargas, Lauren Smalley, Kaitlyn Monahan, John Alliegro, Michael Larrea, Christopher Spatenga, Efstathios Paloubis. Over the Spring Break, some of these students ran an Easter Food Drive as well. They are: Isabella Romanelli, John Alliegro, Adria Vargas, Liam Flanagan, Efstathios Paloubis.
