SAYVILLE, NY — A Sayville native is looking for help from the community in order to travel back home from Pennsylvania to visit her mom for her birthday who was recently diagnosed with cancer.
Last week, Jaclyn Noon started a GoFundMe after finding out her mom had cancer just 12 hours before finding out her uncle passed away.

"I just really need to get their most importantly to see my mom but also most importantly to try to be there for the funeral," she wrote on the page. "On a positive note I did get a job I start the 31st on my mom's birthday but I'm trying to get there to see her [and] comfort her and for the funeral and as soon as possible."
According to Noon, she moved to Pennsylvania in September and hasn't been able to see her mom since. She planned to see her mom for her 60th birthday but was unable to due her previously being unemployed.
