Seven Bayport Student Athletes Commit To College Teams
The graduating seniors will play on Division III teams in swimming, soccer, track, lacrosse and baseball.

BAYPORT, NY —Seven seniors from Bayport-Blue Point High School are committing to college sports teams this fall. The district sent out a congratulations the student athletes who will play on Division III collegiate athletic teams this fall.
The students who were recognized are:
Brenna Horan (swimming, SUNY Geneseo)

Ryan Breaton (soccer, SUNY Maritime)
Luke Schartner (baseball, SUNY Cortland)

Liam Downey (lacrosse, Hartwick College)
Zander Katslas (lacrosse, SUNY Maritime)
Colin Strain (track and field, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute)
Brendan Style (track and field, SUNY Geneseo.)
“The athletics department is extremely proud to see these student-athletes continue their athletic careers at exceptional educational institutions. In conjunction with our teachers and coaches equipping them with the necessary tools, their success is a true testament to their hard work both in classroom and on the athletic fields,” Timothy Mullins, Bayport's director of physical education, health and interscholastic sports, said in the statement.
