West Sayville CVS Distributing Coronavirus Vaccines

The local pharmacy is only one of three CVS stores on Long Island currently offering the COVID-19 vaccine.

WEST SAYVILLE, NY — A local CVS pharmacy will now be offering coronavirus vaccines for eligible residents.

The drugstore chain recently started slowly offering vaccines at limited locations across New York. So far, as of Thursday there are only three Long Island pharmacies that are offering it. One of those is the West Sayville location on 105 Montauk Highway.

But be warned — according to the CVS website the pharmacy is fully booked as of Thursday afternoon.

The other two CVS stores offerings vaccines on Long Island include Bethpage and Manorville.

People must meet New York's coronavirus vaccination criteria and must register at CVS.com, through the CVS Pharmacy app or by calling 1-800-746-7287. Walk-ins will not be accepted.

To be eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine at the CVS, you must be over 65 years of age and a New York resident.
