Scarsdale woman says bauble was swiped from her bedroom closet.

A diamond engagement ring set in a platinum band—and worth between $15,000 and $18,000—was swiped from a Scarsdale woman's bedroom closet, local police said.

The Catherine Road woman noticed the ring's absence only recently, and reported the alleged theft to cops earlier this month, police said.

The ring is 2.67 carats, and emerald cut, according to police reports.
