Authorities are trying to figure out what caused a fire at Scarsdale's Sunnydale Country Club. The fire broke out around 9 a.m. at the groundskeeper's residence at the club yesterday. It took firefighters about an hour to get the fire under control.
A woman who lives at the residence suffered from smoke inhalation. Firefighters treated the 39-year-old woman at the scene. Also during the blaze, a Greenville firefighter suffered a minor muscle injury. He was taken to Westchester Medical Center.
The Westchester County Cause and Origin Team, which is investigating what sparked the fire, says the blaze did the most damage in the home's kitchen and dining room area.
A number of first responders reacted to the blaze, including units from Hartsdale and Yonkers.
