Fluoride chemicals added to Your Water are Harmful & Unnecessary

Scarsdale just received a $260,000 grant (your state taxes) to add unnecessary fluoride chemicals into your bodies via the public water supply. According to the minutes of the Scarsdale Council meeting, "Last year, staff had reported on a grant award from the New York State Department of Health for the Village to conduct an
engineering report to review and analyze the existing fluoride infrastructure at
the Reeves Newsome pump station. The completed report revealed necessary system
upgrades to continue the provision of fluorinated water which is an identified
goal of the State Department of Health. The rehabilitation improvements
identified in the report include the replacement of the underground fluoride
storage tank and all associated piping, rebuilding the fluoride injection
chamber at an estimated cost of $260,000. In April of this year, the Village
submitted a grant application to the Department of Health to construct the
improvement identified in this study for 100% of the cost. The Village was
notified on August 23rd that the grant application was successful and the
Village will be awarded the $260,000 grant to complete the work."
