Greenburgh Declares Snow Emergency

Vehicles found parked in violation of the snow emergency ordinance are subject to a fine.

GREENBURGH, NY — Town of Greenburgh Police Chief Chris McNerney said that a snow emergency has been declared for the overnight hours of March 2. Parking will be prohibited at all metered parking spaces on Columbia Avenue and East Hartsdale Avenue between the overnight hours of 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. Residents are reminded that limited parking will be available at the Webb Field parking lot on North Central Avenue.

Vehicles found parked in violation of the snow emergency ordinance are subject to a fine of up to $500 and vehicles may be removed from the roadway.

This declaration does not affect any other existing town snow ordinance provision, McNerney said.
