Judy Garland's Remains Relocated from Westchester Cemetery
She will be joining other famous celebrities in a Hollywood cemetery.
HARTSDALE, NY — The remains of the legendary star of “The Wizard of Oz” are being relocated from a mausoleum at Ferncliff Cemetery in the Town of Greenburgh to Forever Cemetery in Hollywood.
The move of Judy Garland’s body was arranged by her children — Liza Minnelli, Lorna Luft and Joey Luft — so they could be buried alongside her, the Daily News said.
The remains of Garland, who died of a barbiturate overdose in 1969 at the age of 47, were flown out of JFK Airport Thursday, foxnews.com said.
