Man Killed By Metro-North Train Identified

SCARSDALE, NY — The name of the man who was struck and killed by a Metro-North train Wednesday has been released. A spokesperson for the MTA said the man was positively identified as Surendra Bhansali, 64, of Scarsdale.
The railroad said that the incident appears to have been non-criminal and non-accidental in nature.
An 8:26 a.m. southbound train from Southeast struck Bhansali around 9:20 a.m.
