Milling, Paving Scheduled For Greenburgh Roads

Traffic delays can be expected.

GREENBURGH, NY — Paving schedules have been announced for Sprain and Fort Hill roads. The plan is to begin milling of Sprain Road from Hidden Glen to Jackson Avenue Friday, May 11. Due to the size of Sprain Road and Fort Hill Road, it is not possible to mill and pave both within a week’s time.

  • May 11 – Sprain Road (Hidden Glen to Jackson) - Mill
  • May 14 – Sprain Road (Hidden Glen to Jackson) – Mill
  • May 15 – Sprain Road (Hidden Glen to Jackson)– Pave
  • May 16 – Fort Hill Road – Mill
  • May 17 – Fort Hill Road – Mill
  • May 18 – Fort Hill Road – Pave
  • May 21 – Sprain Road (Ardsley to Underhill) – Mill
  • May 22 – Sprain Road (Ardsley to Underhill) – Mill
  • May 23 – Sprain Road (Ardsley to Underhill) – Pave

Virtual message boards are placed out at the Sprain Road Jackson Avenue intersection and at Ardsley Road advising of the upcoming work on Sprain Road. Alternating two-way traffic will be in place for this work.

There could be traffic delays. Supervisor Paul Feiner said if you have a child who is going to the Ardsley schools please keep in mind the milling/paving schedule when making plans to drop off and pick up your child from school.
