Police ID Woman Killed In Ardsley Car Crash
Funeral services have been announced for the woman.
HARTSDALE, NY — The woman who was killed in a car crash Saturday in Ardsley has been identified. Irene Sacco, 95, died after her husband crashed the car in which she was riding into a tree.
She and her husband, who is 97, were leaving a shopping center on Center Street shortly before 10 a.m. when the crash happened, the Journal News said.
According to her obituary at the Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home website, Sacco is survived, in addition to her husband Tom, by her four children, grandchildren and others.

She was married for 70 years, living 55 years in her Hartsdale/Ardsley home.
Visitation will take place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home, 64 Ashford Avenue in Dobbs Ferry.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 535 Ashford Avenue in Ardsley. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery in Cortlandt Manor.
