Voters were also asked to approve two propositions: whether board vacancies should be at-large instead of specific seats for all future elections beginning with the 2020-21 school year — it passed — and whether voter registration should be permitted year round, during regular business house instead of two designated days the week prior to the vote — it also passed.

Three candidates were vying for three seats on the board of education. The winners were Karen Ceske, Carl Finger and Ron Schulhof.
