Westchester Youth Soccer League's Scarsdale Barcelona were victorious over White Plains Arsenal. Scarsdale played like their La Liga namesakes in the 2-0 win. The victory meant that Barcelona snatched the "Boys Under 11 ENY Upper 90 Cup."
Nico Flint and Matthew Lipsay scored Scarsdale's two goals in the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Associations's championship game, which was played at Stringham Park. Scarsdale keeper Luke Fisher got the shutout.
“We came out strong and quickly and were the first to the ball,” said Scarsdale coach Simon Annis.
