Scarsdale Cops: Pothole Injury; Identity Theft
Police respond to injury on Rock Creek Lane; resident's credit card info swiped, cops say.

A 74-year-old Scarsdale woman injured her ankle and wrist after tripping in a pothole on Rock Creek Lane, police said.
The incident—which occurred last Tuesday evening—left the Black Birch Lane resident with a fractured wrist and twisted ankle.
The woman was spotted by a passer-by shortly after her fall, and driven home; her husband then drove her to Scarsdale Medical Group, cops said.

Police reported the pothole to the village's Highway Department, who are slated to fix the divot.

A Scarsdale woman had a thief swipe her credit card info and go on an electronics shopping spree, Scarsdale police said.
The 57-year-old Meadow Road resident last Wednesday told cops that someone had used her American Express account to buy over $1,000 worth of televisions and Blu-Ray Players.
Police are treating the case as identity theft, a felony; no arrests have been made.
The Scarsdale woman has since cancelled the credit card, police said.
