Scarsdale Man Killed In New Jersey Turnpike Crash
BREAKING: Police say he was driving the wrong way on turnpike at the time of the crash.
A 57-year-old Scarsdale man was killed in a wrong-way crash on the New Jersey Turnpike Monday morning, police said.
According to New Jersey State Police, Steven Hom was driving south in the northbound lanes of the turnpike when his Honda Civic hit a box truck traveling north in Woodbridge at 11:28 a.m., police said.
Hom was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:44 a.m. The driver of the truck, 55-year-old Anthony Scalfano, of Long Island, suffered minor injuries.
