A Scarsdale man says he's being blackmailed after making a nude video online. The Graham Road man says his friend, who is reportedly from France, got a hold of him online and told him to make a video of himself taking his clothes off and then touching himself. The Scarsdale man said he made the video and then sent it to the woman.
Soon after he made the video, the Graham Road man got an email from an unknown person telling him to send $250 via Western Union to Morocco or they were going to show the video to his Facebook friends and post it on YouTube.
The Scarsdale man thinks that somebody hacked into his French friend's account and posed as her to get him to make the video. The Graham Road man says at this time he hasn't reached out to his friend from France to see if her computer or account has been compromised.
Scarsdale police say they advised the Graham Road man "of the dangers of sending that type of material through the Internet."
