Scarsdale MS Mathcounts Team Win Regional Competition
The next competition will be in March in Troy.

SCARSDALE, NY — For the 10th year in a row, the Scarsdale Middle School Mathcounts team took first place at the recent Westchester/Putnam Mathcounts Competition. Eighteen schools were represented, according to coach Steve Weiss.
The Scarsdale students survived a rigorous selection process that began in December, Weiss said. At Pace University, a team of four as well as the six additional students competed by doing a variety of testing individually and as a team.
Mathcounts is a national program run by the National Society of Professional Engineers.
