Scarsdale Shoplifters Elude Police

Shoplifters at LF clothing store in Scarsdale were able to make a clean getaway after police tried to track them down, according to investigators. The whole incident started when a store employee said she saw two women acting suspiciously, picking up clothes and throwing them back down. A few minutes later, a LF store worker said she noticed an item from her store in one of the women's bags. The store manager then asked the woman to give the item back to her. The alleged shoplifter refused and both women ran out of the store and sped off in a gray car.

Police say the women took off towards East Parkway. Authorities tried to track down the car, but they were unsuccessful. 

The investigation is ongoing. So far police have made no arrests.
