Scarsdale Ups Security After Boston Bombing
Local cops ask residents to 'remain alert.'

On the heels of Monday's deadly attack on the Boston Marathon that killed three and bloodied over 150 other, Scarsdale police are ramping up security around the village as a precaution.
"Although there is no intelligence to suggest the tragic events in Boston pose any increased threat to our local area, our police officers are operating at a heightened state of awareness, being diligent to look for any suspicious circumstances," said Det. Lt. Thomas Altizio.
Local police have increased patrols around the train station, schools and various houses of worship, Altizio added.
