Scarsdale Village Elections Set For Tuesday

There is a contested race for trustees.

SCARSDALE, NY — Voters in the village of Scarsdale have decisions to make Tuesday when the long-postponed elections finally take place. Because of the new coronavirus pandemic, the elections were postponed until Sept. 15 by order of the governor.

There are six candidates vying for three, two-year terms for village trustee.

The candidates are (vote for three):

  • Justin Arest, incumbent, Scarsdale Citizens' Nonpartisan Party
  • Robert J. Berg, Voters Choice Party
  • Sean J. Cohen, Voters Choice Party
  • Lean Crandall, incumbent, Scarsdale Citizens' Nonpartisan Party
  • Robert D. Selvaggio, Voters Choice Party
  • Randall Whitestone, Scarsdale Citizens' Nonpartisan Party

Incumbent village Justice Joaquin Alemany is running unopposed for re-election.

Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Scarsdale Congregational Church, 1 Heathcote Road.
