Two From Scarsdale High Chosen by Young Arts New York

Nicholas Politi and Alan Yao, both seniors at Scarsdale High School, have been selected by the National YoungArts Foundation to attend YoungArts New York.

They among 80 emerging artists from the region in the visual, literary, performing and design arts who will attend the week-long intensive program. Politi and Yao will participate in interdisciplinary workshops, seminars and master classes with renowned leaders in their fields, and present their work to the public at Baryshnikov Arts Center, Sotheby’s New York and National Sawdust.

Nicholas Politi is a composer and Alan Yao is a violinist.
