MASTIC, NY — Firefighters battled a blaze in Mastic Friday afternoon.
According to Suffolk County Police, the fire broke out in a home on Mayfield Drive around 1:30 p.m.; arson detectives were notified.
Although there were reports that cars may have been involved, police and fire department officials could not immediately confirm any additional details.
