Harlem Wizards Set To Dazzle At William Floyd

MASTIC BEACH, NY — The Harlem Wizards are slated to face off against the faculty and staff from William Floyd Elementary School and the William Floyd Learning Center during a fundraiser set to dazzle.

The event is planned for Friday, December 13 at 7 p.m. in the William Floyd High School west gymnasium. Doors open at 6 p.m.

The Wizards will wow crowds with basketball skills, a “Wiz Kids” warm-up, comedy, contests, slam dunks, audience participation, giveaways and a signature dance party, district officials said.

There are a variety of tickets available with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the William Floyd Elementary School and William Floyd Learning Center PTOs. General admission is $12 for students ($16 at the door), $15 for adults ($19 at the door), special reserved seating is $20 (includes free poster voucher), court side plus is $30, which includes an exclusive 10-minute meet and greet with two to three Wizards, a souvenir lanyard and a $10 discount on a Wizard’s replica jersey (participants must arrive at the gym by 6 p.m). The Wizards visited William Floyd earlier this year to battle a team from William Paca Middle School and John S. Hobart, district officials said.
