Human Remains Found In Mastic Beach Marsh
The human skeletal remains were found in the marsh on Sunday, police say.
MASTIC BEACH, NY —Human remains were found Sunday in a Mastic Beach marsh, police said.
According to Suffolk County Police, a 911 call came in at 1:35 p.m. about a body found by a cleaning crew on Washington Drive near Forest Road East; officers found the human skeletal remains in the marsh, police said.
The remains were taken to the Suffolk County Medical Examiner's office for an autopsy and for identification, police said.
