Package With 6-Year-Old's Birthday Gift Stolen Off Porch: Police

The woman stole a package, containing a LEGO set meant as a birthday present for a 6-year-old, off a Mastic Beach porch, police say.

MASTIC BEACH, NY — A woman stole a package containing a birthday gift for a child, 6, off the porch of a Mastic Beach residence last month, police said.

According to Suffolk County Police, the woman stole the package containing a LEGO gift set from a porch outside a residence on Locust Drive in Mastic Beach on October 21 at 2:40 p.m. The woman fled in a waiting white or silver Honda Pilot, police said.
