Artists & Fleas Relocates To Historic SoHo Landmark

Artists & Fleas is moving to another location in SoHo next week.

SOHO, NY — Artists & Fleas is moving two blocks down from its current digs in SoHo this summer.

The market with designers, jewelry-makers, curators and more is relocating to a landmarked building at Broome Street and Broadway next Wednesday, July 31, the market announced.

Beginning next Wednesday, the market will relocate to 490 Broadway, with some 5,000-square-feet of space on the ground floor of the historic E.V. Haughwout Building, two blocks south from its current location at 568 Broadway.

"Part of the thrill for us and our community is to create moments of discovery and delight for shoppers and local residents alike," Artists & Fleas founders Amy Abrams and Ronen Glimer said in a statement. "Our new home in one of Soho's most historic buildings at the intersection of Broome & Broadway feels like the perfect crossroads for where retail in New York City is going — where different parts of downtown collide and people from across town come to meet."

Streetwear brand Anglero, jewelry collective A Handful Of, tattoo and piercing shop Live by the Sword, and another jewelry shop Atomic Gold will relocate to the market's new digs as well. New merchants will hold weekly pop-ups, according to the market.
