Di An Di

Location: 68 Greenpoint Ave., Greenpoint

What to eat: Pho. The new restaurant opened to the public on Friday, and features the signature Vietnamese noodle soup. The restaurant is being opened by children of Vietnamese immigrants, who are "sharing our perspective of what Vietnamese-American food and culture means to us," they wrote on Instagram.


Avocaderia

Location: 271 11th Ave., Chelsea

What to eat: Avocados, in whatever form you like. This is the first Manhattan location for the popular Brooklyn restaurant Avocaderia, which includes the popular fruit in every single menu item. Options include an array of avocado toasts, including a New York-themed one made with smoked salmon and everything bagel seasoning, and even an avocado lime cheese cake. You can read more here.

What to eat: Chicken wings. The Buffalo-based restaurant claims to be the originator of the buffalo chicken wing, and it opened its first Manhattan location this week. The menu includes several variations on chicken wings, plus other bar fare like burgers and sandwiches.
