NOLITA, NY — Nearly six months after a fire shuttered the shop, Black Seed Bagels on Elizabeth Street will reopen Thursday morning, the eatery announced.

The Nolita location, located at 170 Elizabeth St. was ruined by an early morning blaze in March, which forced the bagel shop to close.

For months, the flagship location has been undergoing construction and renovations to rebuild after the fire, which includes new seating and a new counter ordering area.

The small bagel chain is known for combining Montreal and New York City bagel-making techniques. There are six locations in New York City, including in the East Village at 176 First Ave.

Beginning Thursday, the Nolita shop will be open seven days a week 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
