Cap'n Crunch Opens Pop-Up Shop in Conjunction with Kith
You have a month to go get your limited edition Cap'n Crunch cereal.

SOHO, NY — Since it's SoHo and a day of the week that ends in the letter "y," it's time to announce a new pop-up shop in the neighborhood. But this time, it's a little different than your usual musician pushing an album or clothing line. Cap'n Crunch — yes, the cereal brand — is launching a pop-up shop in conjunction with clothing and shoes retailer Kith.
The pop-up shop will open for one month only beginning on Oct. 8 at 543 Broadway. The flagship Kith store is about three blocks north of the pop-up shop.
The Cap'n Kith Collection includes T-shirts, hats, robes, slippers and, most importantly, an exclusive Cap'n Kith cereal flavor. There are also dozens of odds and ends of stuff, including key chains, pencils and of course cereal bowls. But back to that cereal flavor. There will only be 500 boxes available exclusively in two pop-up stores in SoHo and Miami. The cereal will be a mash-up of Cap'n Crunch, Chocolatey Crunch and marshmallows. It will come in a gold(-colored), plastic bag, so you'll presumably never want to open it.

The shop opens on Saturday at 11 a.m., and will remain open until 9 p.m. The shop is open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. every other day.
Just a few of the luminaries to open pop-up shops in SoHo the past few months have been Future, Shawn Mendes and Blood Orange. Kanye West opened his in nearby Tribeca. Cap'n Crunch isn't the only cereal to open a pop-up shop in the city, though. Kellogg's opened a one-day pop-up cafe in Times Square on July 4.
