The Chapel of San Lorenzo Ruiz is likely to be sold to developers, pending a court oder.

LITTLE ITALY, NY — A Catholic church that has sat vacant for years is about to be sold to developers for $7.3 million, according to DNAinfo.
The church, located at 378 Broome St., was previously known as the Church of the Most Holy Crucifix before it was reborn as the Chapel of San Lorenzo Ruiz. DNAinfo first reported news of the pending property sale on Tuesday.
The church was originally constructed in 1925, according to city property records. In 2005, the archdiocese established the chapel to serve the city's Catholic Filipino population.
