Chef Ivy Stark's Casa Bocado Opens In Nolita
Chef Ivy Stark, former executive chef at Dos Caminos, opened Casa Bocado in Nolita.
NOLITA, NY — The executive chef behind Dos Caminos and El Toro Blanco has opened a Mexican-inspired restaurant in Nolita.
Chef Ivy Stark opened Casa Bocado, at 341 Broome St. between Bowery and Elizabeth Street, this week in Nolita.
Stark, formerly the executive chef at Dos Caminos, Rosa Mexicano and El Toro Blanco, is behind the Mexican-inspired menu, which features toasted pepita "hummus," various types of ceviche, tacos, and larger plates such as pan roasted American red snapper and a half-roasted chicken with plantains.

The hours for the new digs are Wednesday through Friday, 4 p.m. to midnight, Saturday 11 a.m. to midnight, Sunday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The restaurant is closed Monday and Tuesday.
